Current Facebook gripelist: - Spam is out of control - News Feed makes no sense, the status updates are weighted in a way that does not match my usage patterns or interests - News Feed doesn't retain my request to show "recent" rather than "top" for more than an hour - The Ticker repeats old items - Ads are just everywhere and don't make sense - I'm getting notifications suggesting that I ask questions to get better feedback on Facebook, as if I'm stupid. - People I know are using it more as a place to repost things from other services and aren't using it directly

If you have a Facebook account, want to enter a little contest?  Facebook's "Message" feature assumes, idiotically, that if you've never had contact with someone before, their message to you should be placed in a purgatory that nobody checks. It's called the "Other" folder.  Here's the contest: Go to Facebook and check your "Other" folder, then come back to this post and share the most important message in that folder that you missed because nobody checks the "Other" folder.  You'll find it by going to Facebook, clicking on "Messages" on the left navigation bar, then clicking on the word "Other," which you'll find to the right of "Inbox."  I'll go first in the comments.  Props to Billy Wilson for reminding me about this.

I realise that whilst publicly viewable (via profile) these are posted to communities... So whilst on G+ I don't see the community posts (for communities I've not joined) - which I think is "right" because you (currently) re-post all public G+ posts to Twitter... I do see them there....
