Now kids can learn to code... at home! You’ve probably seen my many posts about +Tynker, the Silicon Valley startup where my son Kevin Elgan works: http://goo.gl/EITGbW Tynker enables kids to have fun making computer games, animated stories, smarphone apps and music -- and other fun stuff -- while at the same time learning programming skills and computational thinking. The Tynker product has been available only for schools -- and teachers and students are really loving it. Each time I’ve posted about Tynker, I’ve been flooded with requests from parents asking: “When can I get this for use at home?” The answer is: Today!
