Over the last few days a crazy new viral trend has been spreading across the web and it’s starting to bubble up to the surface as all good internet memes do.

I've been digging through YouTube for the the origins of the meme, which began as a dorm room mess around that evolved into the 30 second format that now forms the template for all Harlem Shake videos since.
