Put #Lubuntu on alison adams 's Ageing Thinkpad today. It's got 2GB of RAM but was struggling/swapping with WinXP.

Put #Lubuntu on alison adams 's Ageing Thinkpad today. It's got 2GB of RAM but was struggling/swapping with WinXP.
Lubuntu & Google Chrome make it a snappy and happy Laptop.
Uses around 0.6 GB RAM after booting to the desktop... plenty left to run a bunch of Chrome tabs.
