New Pat Metheny album: Kin ( ) #FT   #Music   #PatMetheny   This came alive in GPMAA (Google Music!) this week and is (for me) a return to form after the recent Orchestration projects (which left me cold). I love nearly all of PM's work (solo, trio, collaborations, side-man and especially love the PMG).  Great review by John Kelman over at AAJ who nails the context of this band and album: "That Metheny is consolidating past efforts, as he enters his sixties, is really nothing new.
