Business News: NASDAQ MANU (Manchester United Ltd) to appoint new mid-tier VP of Soccerball #T #MANU #Moyes
The NASDAQ quoted entertainment company Manchester United Ltd are to replace the manager of their soccerball team - a mid-level executive role.
The soccerball team are part of the sporting arm of the corporation and as such play a not insignificant role in the generation of revenues via sponsorship, television contracts and merchandising.
Parts of the consumer base
(formally known as "fans" but in recent times recognised as a "large, passionate community provides Manchester United with a worldwide platform to generate significant revenue from multiple sources, including sponsorship, merchandising, product licensing, new media & mobile, broadcasting and matchday")
appeared to misunderstand their relationship with the club and its decision making processes - apparently unaware that all such mid-management executive staffing announcements must be made to suit the NASDAQ stockmarket.
