Why we dislike Windows #23,863

How do people live with this nonsense?

Having to boot into Windoze today to do a webinar (I live in Linux/Chrome(OS) for everything else) and started the inevitable "Updates" session at 7am so it would have time for dozens of downloads and 30 reboots  etc.... and then this?

It's booted (& working) now.. but I've no clue what did/didn't update or why... I guess I can dig... but it doesn't leave one feeling confident.

And this is Win7... the one that works!
