Advice sought re earbuds...

Advice sought re earbuds...
hoping people here can give some advice.

I need to buy some new earbuds, mostly to be used with my Nexus 7 (2nd gen) & Moto X (2014).
I'm in the UK.

Which medium-high quality brands/lines are most "Android friendly" in terms of in-line controls (vol, track control etc.).


Just wanting to avoid buying something non-optimum :)
