Today a critical infrastructure component failed unexpectedly with dramatic consequences for Internet/WiFi provision in the house.
Our engineering team responded rapidly to diagnose the problem and effect a fix.
Causes: Said component (elastic band) had snapped (se photo) causing the #MacGyver solution cork to become displaced and rendering the router void of a power source.
Solution: A replacement lacky-band was quickly retrieved from the emergency lacky-band-stash and applied to the cork/router.
Once power was re-established Internet/WiFi provision was quickly re-enabled and a full service has been offered since that time..
