Here's some photos for Father's Day 2016 Thinking of Dad today, much missed - so some nice photos of him. I got presents of a Star Trek Pizza slicer (how did I live without one of these?) and some Vader Socks from the boy (I am his Father). We had breakfast with Alison's parents and then Arthur headed off in Tessa (his vintage Triumph Vitesse) for a day of motoring. Been playing Brad Mehldau's (@bradmehldau) double album Highway Rider this morning. I bought it back in 2010 and didn't really get into it much at the time - I think I was wanting more of his trio playing. Prompted by the news that he'll be performing it this Summer I've revisited it - and it is actually a very accomplished album with some strong playing by soloists and lovely arangements for the orchestra.
